Daily Diary A few showers overnight associated with a trough but these cleared by dawn to leave a fine morning with some sunshine. Sunny spells lasted until the morning, but cloud thickened from the SW associated with a frontal wave which produced a spell of persistent rain for most of the afternoon and early evening before clearing through just before dusk.
