A fairly pleasant day all told. Relatively clear skies overnight with some fair weather cloud during the morning. Cloud gradually thickened up (high cloud invading etc) as the transient ridge flattened ahead of the next system arriving from the Atlantic. Some rain arrived during the evening. Moderate W'ly winds backing round to S'ly. Rather mild for the time of year.
