Storm Geraldine (named by Meteo France) passed over the UK, bringing another mild and breezy day. A few showers during the morning but plenty of dry but overcast weather too. Band of heavy rain arrived during the late afternoon/early evening, with reports of a tornado near Venn Ottery and Tipton St Mary damaging a few homes. This cleared through to clearer spells but with heavy showers and remaining windy.
