Daily Diary Rain overnight associated with a developing area of low pressure, named Storm Henk. A windy warm sector ensued during the second half of the morning, before the winds veered W to WNW'ly and strengthened significantly - strongest gusts were at the head of the cold conveyor but it remained very windy for the rest of the day, winds only slowly moderating. Mild once again, although temperatures dropped post front to something slightly less mild, and some brief glimpses of sunshine were observed. Very mild overnight, with winds generally keeping the temperature up. These blew in some fairly hefty showers in the unstable regime that followed during the evening/overnight.
