Daily Diary

A cold but sunny start underneath high pressure, with a chilly NE'ly wind. Cloud increased during the afternoon. Some snow developed associated with convergence through the Dover Strait and Thames Estuary, accompanied by an area of colder air aloft. This eventually made it's way to mid-Devon, with a very light dusting of snow which then remained overnight. Air and grass frosts observed.
