Daily Diary

Following an overcast start, cloud breaks developed allowing temperatures to drop close to freezing at dawn before rising again. Some sunny spells began to develop. A weak occluded front arrived early afternoon, with more significant cloud breaks and an improvement in visibility and air quality. A quiet afternoon and evening, a second cold front arrived in the early hours with an air frost developing behind it. Dry, with light mainly NW'ly winds. Daytime maxima close to average for the time of year.
