Daily Diary Some bright spells with glimpses of sunshine and mild at first, however cloud thickened later in the morning with rain arriving on a slow moving frontal zone from the W by the afternoon. This gave a thoroughly wet period through the afternoon and evening, only clearing overnight with some breaks in the cloud then allowing temperatures to fall a little from their very mild peak.
