Daily Diary Rain cleared overnight with very strong NE'ly winds developing on the back side of the associated low pressure pulling away into France. These winds persisted for much of daylight hours, only slowly easing through the evening. Good spells of sunshine developed from mid-morning as cloud cleared away SE'wards, with clear spells into the evening and following night leading to a colder night than previous, with an air frost.
