Overnight rain cleared through early in the morning as a waving cold front moved to the E. A fairly cloudy flow followed with the odd shower, before winds backed and strengthened during the evening and overnight ahead of further heavy rain, which contained some quite squally winds and thunderstorms across Cornwall. Temperatures closer to average in the polar maritime air mass.
