Band of heavy, squally rain and sleet ran through overnight followed by showers, again some sleetiness with snow over higher ground. Pivoting occlusion arrived during the evening to give a more prolonged spell of rain. Fresh to strong winds at first, becoming lighter as the low centre drifted across. Rather cold.
