A sharp, squally cold front came through during the first part of the morning, bringing some very heavy rain and strong gusts of wind (and a little bit of hail mixed in), leading to a blustery day of sunshine and showers in the following NW'ly flow. Some of the showers contained small hail. After a mild night, temperatures by day were a bit below average for the time of year.
