A marked contrast to the preceding weekend - an area of low pressure and associated fronts pushed slowly N and NE across the region, bringing, after a dry but dull start, a prolonged spell of moderate rain, with the odd heavier burst. Moderate S'ly winds, and temperatures varied very little through the day, rather cold during the day time, but mild overnight given the continued cloud cover.
