Daily Diary

A more active weather day than recent days. Started off fine and warm with sunny spells and areas of high and medium cloud around. Convection got going during the morning, with showers and thunderstorms developing. Thunder was heard during the afternoon, but no rain was forthcoming. Light, mainly W'ly winds, and some rain did eventually arrive associated with a plume of more organised rain moving in from the E.
