Daily Diary A deep, mature depression swept across the south of the UK, bringing bands of rain, which were heavy in places and slow moving on the northern flank of the low. After a cloudy start, some sunshine during the middle of the day, but thicker cloud and eventually rain arrived mid-afternoon; this turned heavy at times during the evening before clearing to showers overnight. It turned windy too, with gales on the coast, and fresh to strong S'ly winds inland too. A cold night, but temperatures rose during the early morning as warm air arrived, however by day temperatures were below average too. RoostCam South Timelapse | RoostCam North Timelapse |
