Daily Diary Wet start to the day with outbreaks of rain, before a change to an Am air mass during early afternoon followed by increasing amounts of cloud breaks in the colder air as the main frontal cloud cleared S. It remains fairly cloudy however, with the odd shower during the evening in particular. Rather cold by day, and temperatures fell from early afternoon as strong cold advection took place, becoming very cold overnight (first frost of the season). Light W'ly winds became a moderate N'ly.
