Daily Diary Overnight rain/sleet turned to snow for a time as it became heavier during the morning, giving a covering of around 0.5cm of slushy snow. Temperatures hovered around, to just above freezing, so not enough to produce sig snow here but many parts of SW England did have heavier snowfalls with 5-15, loc 20cm of snow reported from various sources. Skies cleared during the late-morning/early afternoon, allowing a rapid melt to set in, with plenty of sunshine during the second half of the day. A cold, early evening followed, but temperature erratically climbed back up above freezing overnight. Very cold by day, with variable winds. RoostCam South Timelapse | RoostCam North Timelapse |
