A ridge of high pressure and clear skies/air frost to start, followed by a fairly fine day with some sunny spells. Cloud increased later ahead of a convective occlusion arriving from the west, which brought some showers after 9pm. Cold overnight, both pre and post occlusion, with a brief air frost. Temperatures around average by day. Light winds, although they picked up sharply overnight ahead of Storm Herminia.
