A wet and windy day as Storm Herminia and its associated fronts swept through, turning to showers/thunderstorms overnight. Mild, with a strong, mainly SSW'ly wind. Some brief sunny breaks developed during the middle of the day, between the occlusion and the upstream frontal wave/mesolow which developed.
