Change to a cleaner Atlantic air mass took place as weak cold fronts arrived from the W (no rain). Skies cleared for a time to allow some sunshine post the first cold front, but high and medium cloud thickened up once again during the afternoon, leading to a dull rest of the day. Skies cleared once again during the evening, leading to a cold night. Moderate W'ly winds, and much cooler than recent days.
