A warm day with plenty of quite thick high cloud, and areas of medium cloud running north ahead of an area of low pressure to the south. This brought a few "big drop" showers, before clearing to sunny spells during the afternoon. Further showers arrived in a second, more active batch overnight. Light, mainly S'ly winds.
